hand Carved Ice Sculptures

When should the ice sculpture be delivered?
Delivery should be scheduled approximately one hour before guests are to arrive. Cape Pond Ice will coordinate the delivery with your florist, facility manager, and/or caterer.

How long do they last?
At room temperature, an ice sculpture will last 4 to 6 hours.

What happens when it melts?
As the sculpture melts it becomes more delicate. When we set-up, we provide drip trays and drain hoses.

What is the lead-time for an order?
Preferably 3 weeks or more. The S'liquor Slides / Ice Shot Luges require much less time.

How much do they cost?

  • S'liquor Slides are $100 and up. We offer a standard design and customized versions.
  • Simple One Block Carvings range from $225 to $300. These include letters, numbers, shrimp boats, cornucopias, vases, wedding bells, and single half oyster shells.

  • Complex Multiple Block Custom Carvings are $400 and up. These include eagles, corporate logos, life-size ice bars, kissing swans, and architectural reproductions.

Special Note: Pricing of custom orders is based on the complexity of the design and the artist's time to create it. Please inquire for an exact quote.

What else should I know?
For an even greater dramatic impact, Cape Pond Ice can provide specialty lighting for your sculpture. Lighting fees start at $30. Additionally, the local delivery and set-up charge is $40.
